AIMCo Offers Input to International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation
In April 2021, the Trustees of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation proposed amendments to the IFRS Foundation Constitution that would enable the creation of a new sustainability standards board under the governance of the Foundation. At that time, the IFRS Foundation requested stakeholder input.
Overall, AIMCo is supportive of the amendments to the constitution. Chief Investment Strategy Officer Amit Prakash and Vice President of Responsible Investment Alison Schneider provided AIMCo's response.
