Jon Love

Founder and CEO, KingSett Capital

Jon Love is the Founder and Executive Chair of KingSett Capital, Canada’s leading private equity real estate investment firm. Jon began his real estate career with Oxford Properties in 1980, gaining experience in leasing, property management, and development in increasingly senior leadership roles, becoming President of Oxford Properties in 1987 and CEO in 1992.

Jon is a member of the Business Council of Canada, the Chief Executives Organization, and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Jon is also an Emeritus Advisory Board member at Western University’s Ivey Business School, where he received an Honours degree in Business Administration. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Western University in 2016 and became a member of the Order of Canada (C.M.) in 2018.

Paul Mouchakkaa

Executive Managing Director, Global Head of Real Estate

Prior to joining AIMCo, Paul Mouchakkaa most recently served as Managing Partner, Head of Canada with BentallGreenOak, a position he held since June 2020. With BentallGreenOak, Paul led the Canadian Investment Management team which is responsible for a $25 billion diversified real estate portfolio made on behalf of 140 Canadian and global investors.

Previously, Paul served as Managing Investment Director and Head of Real Assets for the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), a role he held since 2015. At CalPERS, he had responsibility and authority for CalPERS’ $62 billion real asset portfolio, which includes nearly $53 billion in top tier commercial real estate assets and $8 billion in infrastructure assets located across the U.S., as well as in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Paul is a Canadian citizen, born in Ottawa and has worked in Toronto, Old Greenwich, Connecticut, Los Angeles, and Sacramento. He is an Honours Economics graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa and holds an MBA majoring in Finance from the University of Oregon.

Doug Brunsdon

Principal, Real Estate, AIMCo

Doug Brunsdon is a Principal in AIMCo’s Real Estate team, where he is responsible for AIMCo’s Canadian office real estate portfolio. Prior to this joining AIMCo in 2021, Doug held senior positions in KRB Developments, ProCura Real Estate Services and Minto Group. He previously served as Managing Director for the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund Board from 2016 to 2021. Doug holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Regina.
